Izmade is a design and interior design studio in Turin.

Our design studio

We create custom-made furnishings and fittings, thanks to professionals such as designers, architects and makers with many years of experience. At the same time we share equipment and skills, opening our laboratory and organizing courses for enthusiasts and events on environmental sustainability.

Vision

The company, as a social enterprise, pursues purposes of common benefit, operating in a responsible, sustainable and transparent manner towards people, communities, the territory and the environment, cultural and social assets and activities, bodies and associations and other stakeholders. The company carries out a stable and main activity of general interest for the pursuit of civic, solidarity and social utility purposes, without profit.

Mission

Our services

Design and production

Izmade produces catalog furniture products, special and custom-made furniture, interior design, dealing with design consultancy, prototyping services, production and sale of furniture, furnishings and furnishing accessories with low environmental impact, made with the use of eco-sustainable materials, such as recycled materials, industrial processing waste and by-products, innovative and recyclable materials, with the aim of to spread and support greater sensitivity in the careful use of natural resources and the use of recycled materials in daily life.

Training

Izmade carries out education and instruction services aimed at preventing early school leaving and combating educational poverty, as well as cultural activities of social interest with educational purposes: courses and courses are organized of training, didactic and training workshops for citizens, schools, universities and companies, aimed at spreading the knowledge of woodworking and eco-sustainable craftsmanship; events are also promoted, such as conferences and workshops, for the dissemination of the culture of eco-sustainable craftsmanship, self-production and the conscious and careful use of materials with low environmental impact.

MakerSpace

Izmade manages an artisan workshop where to offer private individuals and organizations a place where they can carry out design work, DIY and prototyping of objects and furnishing accessories, in support of self-production and recycling of materials, guaranteeing access and use of spaces and some tools to people and businesses; the offer of spaces and services is granted to facilitate the birth and development of artisan and artistic ideas, organizations and businesses, with particular attention to those who work with methods with low environmental impact and in support of the community.
