First meeting

Theory
Presentation of the artist and course;
Theoretical and practical notions on clay modeling techniques;
Materials and knowledge of working tools.

Practice:
Clay manipulation exercise to stimulate manual and creative skills;
Brief exercise of copying from the real;
Analysis of the feasibility of the “Personal Project” in relation to the forming exercise.

Second meeting

Practice:
Setting of the chosen subject, possible armor;
Making the model.

Third meeting

Theory
Theoretical and practical notions on serial forming and replication techniques,
from mouldable material to fixed material (plaster, cement, resins, ceramic);
Materials and knowledge of working tools.

Practice:
Model finishing
Creation of the mold (negative and positive)

Fourth meeting

Practice:
Making the copy and finishing of the final work.
